The No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas provided attendees plenty of content but one thing that stood out to me was how comfortable many of the speakers were in their own skin.
It was enjoyable to interview some of the speakers but also many of the attendees. The difference was when I got ready to turn on the camera and interview someone in the crowd they would say, “What are you going to ask me?”
The speakers loved the camera and didn’t require any upfront coaching. I literally walked up and said, “Katie how about a quick interview?” Then turned on the camera.
Todd Falcone was the same way as were many others.
Why is that?
Is it:
- Confidence
- Exposure
- Branding
- Narcissism
I say confidence.

Hey Ken – Nice post! I always love to hear tips from Katie – even better on video
Hey Ken,
Awesome post! I had a blast at the summit too. The energy was just insane wasn’t it? People really needed to be there to get the full experience. I’m posting my vids and pics tonight, I got a video with Mike Dillard that the people at home on the couch need to see…lol! Let’s connect on FB Ken…take care!
